AGRON’s product line consist of biopesticides and beneficial microorganisms, botanicals, minerals, pesticidal soaps and detergents, pheromones and traps and also grafting clips and other equipment for nurseries and new technology for monitoring pollutants in soil and water. AGRON’s products are being distributed through 100 selling points in Israel.
Among our projects are: formulation of biopesticides and other environmentally friendly agrochemicals, development of botanical pesticides (plant extracts), development of insecticidal and fungicidal soaps and detergents, production of endomycorrhizal inoculants, EU funded research on nitrogen-fixing bacteria for non-leguminous arable crops, development of new technology for Mating Disruption of pests (advanced novel method for using pheromones), monitoring pollutants in soil and water and other projects.
AGRON Ltd. has a field team consisting of highly qualified, B.Sc. and M.Sc. graduated agronomists, who are experienced in conducting field trials. This team conducts the R&D trials and the official registration trials. R&D activities are carried out in cooperation with scientific institutes (mainly Agricultural Research Organization, MOA), Universities and the MOA’s extension service. Agron’s team is doing field trials with new products (in the developmental stage) as a service to multinational agrochemical companies. Agron is being involved in this activity since 1990.
